thanks for this informed post ,what do you guys make of this ? with my homemade caltracks i have set up in my crapa is lower hole shocks on 1, 0 pre load is the only way this will hook 2inch lowed blocks ,split mono leaf ,calvert 90/10 my 60 ft are 1.6 ,will it work better with a small air gap , with pre load it spins.
Do you ever video your launch... if your rear shocks are set on 1 try increasing the stiffness... you could be running out of travel... make SURE your front end can move freely and has 5" of travel

I can see 2 things ... first you need to add some pre-load to the right bar... your car turned to the right at the hit and the front doesnt move much

Anyone running Caltracs with the Mopar Performance style 3" relocation kit that moves the springs inboard into the frame rails. I have Caltracs & split mono's & the Doctor Diff 1" relocation kit on the back of my Challenger now but I want to get a larger tire on the rear. Trying to get a 15x12 rim with 315 Drag Radials & my current combo the leaf spring & wheel well lip is just a lttle to close for comfort.

Bottom hole – Softer Hit, moves IC forward
how does being on the bottom hole on the caltracs change IC ?
The bar is lower(more level) and moves the intersection point futher forward.
I thought the IC would only change from the front spring eye hanger being moved up or down on those holes not the bars...
What's funny is; Calvert's site USED to say that they changed the IC......Then they changed it to where it didn't mention anything about changing the IC.........and now there is absolutely NO instructions or info on the site about how they work...... ......and typically NONE of the people that post about them can answer that and I've never seen anyone that says "they move the IC forward" be able to draw a picture showing exactly where the IC is moved to...
IMHO, they don't change the IC..... ALL they do is stiffen the front spring half (after all, they are just mono springs)...... With a larger gap or the bars in the bottom holes, it takes more spring wrap up before they stiffen the front spring half, allowing the pinion to climb the ring gear and stick the tire or wheel stand......
If you can't handle the truth, you're living a lie.......
