The wife and I took the 2 1/2 hour trip down to bad1970dust's shop yesterday. This car looks bad with the 10.5Ws on it... The Alston ladder bar setup is nice! He showed me the secret converter and the brake that is going in. I had the camera but didn't take any pics.. Also saw Partsman440s 67 Valiant in the shop that is getting the same chassis treatment. Nice car,Tim!! Jim was fabbing up the new tubs before we left. Quite an improvement over the old steel ones. And thanks Jim and Christy for the pizza and chicken...Quite tasty!!

Guys...Really wish I would have took some pics..Guess I was too excited! Jim does some very nice work..Maybe he can take some later..I really like the lower stance of the car. Doc...The rear kinda looks like your 65 with those big M/Ts on the back. I think it will be ready for the April 16th testing..The only pic I have is the one before everything was welded up. I am sure most have seen it but here it is..

I am gonna go out on a limb here and guess that between the Wilwood discs on the front and chassis upgrade plus the replacement of the old steel tubs to aluminum,the car may have lost about a 100 pounds. Every little bit helps! Eric...You keep posting those budget tips! I am gonna need them! I like 440Jims idea about used oil in the lawnmowers! Don't think I would use it in the Deere 455 but it might find its way into the pile of junk Ford 4000 tractor!!
