When I got on the freeway, I didn't go puttin out there at 35 at the end of the ramp. Cruise control? an insult.

As for 'removal' of the vent stacks, I have been doing this for 25 yrs and it does work. If you run a drop-base air cleaner, it is necessary on T.Q.'S to shorten the stack if not remove it. Several carb builders remove the vent stack also. On a T.Q., it works well as there is little or no chance the gas can flow out of the vent due to a well designed vent system coming off the float chambers. Example pic: Well it's good to hear you were taking a break and not quitting, from the reply in the other it sounded like you were all done.

DEMONSIZZLER super gas D Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 826 Stone Mt, GA.	Just as rebuild-able as any other carb. The upper rear corners of the bowl will sag so that can be a problem on some. Sight down each side lengthwise of the top of the bowl and you will know if the bowl is warped. T.Q's are hard to beat on performance and gas mileage! 6562286-225tq.JPG (36 downloads)
