My new stroker short block is coming together. Budget constraints are limiting the initial project to just the short block. Stock top end is going on the motor for the first phase.
This hasn't kept me from planning for phase 2 though. If/when the budget permits, I'll spring for some slightly worked RHS heads, and poke in the Comp XE275HL I've got on the shelf.
Once I hit that stage, I also really need to ditch the stock T-quad intake. Due to my Air Grabber, I'm limited to something that has a near stock height, which rules out the favorite Performer RPM. Just because I'm a glutton for punishment, I might also try to stick with a Thermoquad.
What options are out there that will fit? Strip Dominator? Torker 2? LD340?

what's keeping you from putting the cam in now?
I'd look at the LD340 modded to fit the t-quad...the air gap really isn't that tall, it's the same height as a performer RPM, which I think is about the same height as the LD340...
the mopar M1 single plane will also work with a spread bore, but IIRC is taller...
there's the wieand action plus and stealth...I don't think they're quite as tall as the edelbrocks...
the torker II IIRC is shorter than the RPM/air gap, I've never really been a fan of low rise single planes, personally.
with that cam and in a street car I'd probably stick with a dual plane....

The XE275HL has too much lift (.525")for the stock springs. Required springs would probably require spring seat mod. Too much trouble at this stage.
Just to clarify, the intake change won't occur until I do the cam and head swap.
RPM and RPM Airgap are about 3/4" taller than the Performer. Neither will hold a T-quad.
Torker II is another 1/2" taller still, so it's definitely out of the question.

holley street dominator is a single low rise amd will take a spredbore the weiand action plus is another good choise,IIRC is about the same hieght as a stock intake the comp 901-16 spring is a single with damper, drops on with stock hardware and stock valve seals they work great with my voodoo roller cam turning to 6200 rpms with no valve float

Regarding the Weiand intakes, looks like the only difference between the Stealth and the Action-Plus is the latter is machined to handle both a square and spread bore. They look to be the same casting. Am I seeing this correct? Stealth Action Plus Both being dual planes, are they going to offer much improvement over stock, or do they just amount to an expensive weight reduction? Also, even though the 8007 is machined for a T-quad, it does not have a choke well, so I’d have to somehow install an electric choke. Might have to scavenge some parts off a later T-quad. What’s the difference between the Holley Strip Dominator, and the Street Dominator? Can’t find much info on either. With the extra torque inherent to the stroker motor, I’m not too concerned with low-end torque loss normally associated with a single plane. In fact, I have my doubts that any dual plane other than the RPM can support the flow potential of the RHS heads. This is by no means a max effort motor, but I don’t want to leave 50 hp on the table just because I don’t have a decent intake. Yes, this motor is going in my 72 RR. Regarding the cam/springs, CC recommends a dual spring with this cam. That's not to say I couldn't get by with a single/damper combo. Just need to make sure I have plenty of valve clearance and keep the revs down. I'll evaluated the cam situation closer once I tear the current motor apart and I know for sure what I've got to work with.

for $95, get some hughes #1110 springs. they'll handle the cam with no spring seat mods, and can reuse stock (non rotator) retainers.
comp 901's don't have enough compression before coil bind for an XE275HL...

With stock heads you'll probably have to have the guides cut for that much lift.
