My Nov build 69 J code had the last 3 digits of the axle code and the day and month stenciled in yellow paint on the driver's side of the axle and a blue dot about the size of a dime or a little smaller dabbed (actually looked like it was airbrushed) on the very bottom of the passenger side of the tube. The circle with the x and a number 2 on the back of the pumpkin and there was another number stenciled under the flange on the driver's side of the third member. There was a big orange splotch drizzles over the grease plug and the markings on the very bottom of the third member were nit legible. It was a 3.23 SG with the 489 case. It looks much the same as what was on the 68

Here's a '66 to show what the applications look like; some marks are the same as my '68 & '69 RRs were. I also have a few pics of them redone.
