went 9.46 last fall. It was stable and strait.
I wonder if it feels much different @ 9.0s?

RADMAX wish I could have stayed in Tucson longer to see your ride! Had to leave before I could get out to the track.
Myself I would like to push it to low 8.s but my car weighs 3012 with me in it, and 8.80s is about it so far.

well if I had enough motor I would have no problems running my duster into the 7s but the car will only cert to 8.50

70 duster full chassis super pro 416 CNC Indybrock heads 727 w/brake

best so far 1.212 60 6.219 in 1/8 at 110.88 9.768 at 137.81 1/4

Will have to see when I put the 520 in the Aries. Should run some 8's after I make some changes next winter.

Eric always has to ask these complicated questions. Lets see I ran a 8.60 in the 1/4 with a bad barry grant fuel pump and Indy heads. Next time out it will have the B1 heads on it and a few other changes so it better run some 8.00's or a high 7 or the piece of junk is for sale.

Seriously, for me mid-high 9's is my comfort zone. I'm too chicken to have a super quick car, but I bet I'd try if money allowed.

NOt much faster then it runs now. The Dart combo has far exceeded my expectations running 8.2x @ 163 motor only 2800#. Any faster and I would need to deploy the chutes. Chassis will cert 7.50 but there is more to going fast then just going fast!

I would love to hit a 9.9X time with the truck. But not sure that is possible with my Magnum Block. We are going basically for all or nothing again this year. Either the block splits in two OR we take a serious shot at a 9.9X time. Either way we are going to find out what happens first.

I'd like to turn on the spray and let it eat... but that would get me thrown out of the track and cost about $3k to get the chassis updated to 7.50. So I guess what I'd really like to see is SOMEONE buy it, turn on the spray and tell me how it did

Now if I still had the Firechicken, I would LOVE to run a 6.9x pass. That chassis could have handled it easily.

Beating his old .509 Duster combo wasnt a problem

But his new BG engine/Arrow combo is tough combo to beat.


Joking aside, Id like to bust a 9, and later a 7. Ive got the knowledge but I dont have the Expendible cash to waste to do it with this economy. My current setup can run 9.6,s or better NA with a MP .590 but it wont be legal.

Even with a unlimited Budget, I have no desire to run any faster 7.99, at least for now

Well,my goal for this year it to get my car into the the mid-12's.
I have driven the car to 13.04 @ 110 mph.
To help me achieve my goal,this year I bought wheels/slicks,centerforce df clutch,electric fan (for the drive to and from)and Calvert Racing front shocks.
383 4-speed 4:10 gear Novice Driver.
The quickest I would like my car to see in the 1/4 mile is 11:80(car would probably fall apart
