I used narrow pads on a motor with a .720 lift cam for over 250 passes. never any problem. with a cost of 3500.00 it's overkill in 95% of time. home of the Sox and Martin Hemi Duster

In that environment they are absolutly perfect to use. They were good enough even for the first pro stock cars which revved as high as 9,000 rpm before any aftermarket ones were made.if they could stand 250 passes and 7700 rpm at the traps . Should I chose to put a set on a motor I would consider having a used set reconditioned . Rocker Arm Specialists is the outfit that does the work.They will regrind the pads and remove any wear spots,check the bushings and replace if needed. Dick Landy used to sell rockers that were black powered coated or plated to all the fuel guys. He would check them for proper ratio and clean them up removing any parting lines.I have seen those on many nostalgia builds. . I still have as set. home of the Sox and Martin Hemi Duster

My condition is fully BLOWN!!

I always hear the downside of a HEMI is the complicated and awkward valvetrain....I guess that anything that improves upon the original design has to be a plus.

Around 750hp started out as street/strip, but since last year race only. .670 lift / 7k rpms never had a single problem or weird valve adjustment etc. Old design, old set but works fine for me. '

I check the valves twice a year, but they never move really. From what I've been told, unless you're running 8k+ rpm on a regular basis, the T&D/Barton rockers are not needed and have no benefit. Nothing wrong w/ them at all, just money you don't need to spend. They are pretty though. CHIP '70 hemicuda, 575" Hemi, 727, Dana 60 '69 road runner, 440-6, 4 speed, Dana 60 '71 Demon 340, no drivetrain, on blocks behind the barn '73 Chrysler New Yorker, 440, 727, 8.75 '90 Chevy 454SS Silverado, 476" BBC, TH400, 14 bolt '06 GMC 2500HD LBZ Duramax

Domingo I can only say one thing: Get that car out of the garage and RACE RACE RACE. This 27 go to the track and race, you have a heads up against my small block, motor to motor. 4 years ago you said you would beat every car in Peru and I'm still waiting to get beat.
