voodoo gets my vote

I just went to a 60710 roller cam

258/264
207/213
.485/.485
108icl/112lsa

idles 600rpms and just hear it,got lots of mid range torque pulls right to 5800

gettin 19 mpgs in my 85 truck
318/360 heads-Q-jet
904 high stall lock up
83/4-742-3.23 sg 27" tire

stock springs are no good for a voodoo IMO

on a side note...the spring that lunati recomends is a double with a damper and reco it for all of there sb cams

the heads will have to have machine work and seals to use lunati spring

I used comp 901s and stock every thing else

they droped on with stock seals with out pulling the heads

they work fine on my roller cam, have been to 6200 with it and no valve float

the 60710 does start nosing over after 6000 rpms but is rock soild to 5800

pm me if ya want some lunati springs..I have an extra set

I am very happy with the voodoo 60710 roller cam

I stand corrected in that the cam is wiped. In this case though I would sure take the engine out and thoroughly clean it and check and replace the main and rod bearings. All this filings went someplace and gaurenteed the filter didn't catch them before circulating.

Clean it, if it's Dirty. Oil it, if it Squeaks. But: Don't fix it, if it Works!
