Anyone have a closeup picture of their 71 RR/GTX engine compartment? Trying to put together my project and I need a sample.

Thanks

Here's one. The two black "dots" on the left cowl was where I was planning to mount the EI mod. I actually am hiding an MSD instead. That would be where there would be from 72 on the EI mod. would mount. There are a couple extra wires on the right fender, but oterwise this is how it would look. If your car is non Hemi then it would have a different brake booster (pancake).

So there's no heater valve to deal with? Also, I can't see where the starter relay goes. All nice looking examples, thanks.

Heater Valves are on AC cars.

Starter Relay is on the Drivers side inner fender near the battery until 73 when they moved it to the firewall next to the Brake Booster.

Thanks. I also noted that there are no heater hose brackets, just the plastic hoop on the inner fender that holds the hose up. Am I right on this?

Are you not counting the one on the alternator?

Hey Mike, how about posting a pic of that car?

Not quite true, If it has Stratovent (H41 I think) it WILL have a heater valve.

Yes, H41 Stratovent got a heater valve. A different valve than the A/C cars, but controlled by vacuum line. See below my engine compartment on 71 RR with Stratovent.

Hey Mike, are the last 3 of the VIN 456 on that car? If so, then that is the car I built and had OE cert'ed in 01.
Let me know if it is my old car, I was always a little curious where it ended up.
