Hey Guys!

I'm doing a color change (brown to black) on my '69 Super Bee coupe and despite my asking, my body guy decided not to paint anything on the interior that he thought wouldn't be visible once the interior has been installed, including the posts between the side windows.

I'm working on assembling the interior and for the life of me I cant recall if the post has a piece of trim that goes over it, or if it just left body colored paint.

My gut is telling me that I have some painting to do, but can anybody send a pic, or describe how the post is supposed to be finished?

Thanks guys!

The interior post would be painted black for a black interior.

The interior side of the post (B-pillar) should be the same color as the interior door & quarter metal.

Mask everything off and shoot it at low pressure; it's very little area to deal with, since the pinchweld trim covers the edges. If you're stuck as far as proper spray equipment, a rattle-can would get it done. Heck, if your sense of humor is twisted enough, cover it with leftover headliner material and drive people nuts at car shows!
