As a dealership tech some things mentioned bother me. First of all if this trans was barely moving a flash is not going to fix anything at that point. Internal damage. A good tech would have condemned the trans in the parking lot. Secondly, a crack in the case?? Havent seen one in years, did they drop it off the jack?! Third, pump failed days ago??? Hahahaha!! It would not have moved anymore if the pump failed. That dealership gives good dealers a bad name. I for one take pride in my work and it pisses me off to hear stories like yours. 08 Caravans were notorious for gear train failure, thrust bearing takes everything out. And yes you should have call Chrysler, my guess is that they would have helped in some way, Ive seen it many times. Good luck.

my reference to the "Chyrsler Advisor" ... that was the Corp Customer Service person from the toll free number in the Owners manual

I was extreme poliete and calm during the whole conversation

but besides an apology, they offered no other help

I'll buy another Mopar (probably Dodge Ram) next time- and will say that I typed my former response with some steam still under my collar ... sorry ---

thanks for letting me rant
