Oh
I bought a wide lip lid for 80 dollars and I believe it to be a repop lid.
It is like brand new and Nice.
I am Ok with it as I don't know what the difference is between the two.
Just my

OE wide lip lid is much heavier so the repop is like a race version...

What is an original A-12 lid going for in nice shape? I actually own it.

I would say between $1600 and $2000 depending upon the condition and what else it comes with (lid). At the height of the market I remember these things going for $2500.

He is just asking about the lid , not the full unit .

Should probably read things a little closer....thanks, John...let me try this again...$90 to $125 depending upon the condition...the thickness of the metal on the repop ones is just a little thinner.

It's cool wall art,Anyway I was just wondering....The aftermarket ones are really light compared to oem probably 2/3rds the weight of a real one...Sounds like the A-12 guys are fine with the thinner chinese versions.....

This has been discussed before but never confirmed...do you have a scale to weigh yours?....curious on the weight difference between original and the repops.

Never weighed them but hold one in one hand and then pick up the other with your other hand...One is like a box of cereal and the other feels like a box of pancake mix...Not even close....
