I wish this was two months ago! I just went through this whole shock deal trying to get my car to work better! I still look forward to see what he has to say though. Hopefully I can learn more about making them work even better.

This will be a thread on here so you will be able to ask any question you want. Obviously its not all drag racing on here so you will be able to throw out your road track stuff too.
Well it certainly looks like we have enough interest. My guy is liking the idea. He is on the road this week and we are gonna try to get this on here in the next couple weeks. He wants to do at least a week worth where he would check the thread several times a day to answer questions. Next step is making it happen. I'm on it

I'll start it off!
I have Afco double adjustables on all four corners. Great shocks, looking to get the most out of them. I have the car in the sig obviously, 3000 lbs, ladder bars 30 inches long, leave off trans brake. The weight dist is now 47.5 rear 52.5 front. I have started testing with the rears soft on extension, medium on compression and have progressed to about the middle of their adjustment for stiffness, seems to be about right as the 60 fts went from 1.28 down to 1.259 and got very consistent. Fronts are still dead soft on extension , fairly stiff on compression to help with the landing.
Where would you go from here? The car wheelstands and hits the 66 inch wheelie bars fairly hard. I have about four inches of travel up front.

Great idea I'd like to know what to expect from a shock upgrade.

Looks like we are going to get us some shock tech next week.
I think it should have a subject of something like "Lets talk shocks" or something like that?? Really dont care what it is so long as all my Moparts friends know where to look. My goal is to get something worthy of our tech archives. Stay tuned

Good idea. Start a new thread. And have the Afco guy start it himself.
