Dipping also provides 100% coverage which you also can't do with any other spray coating. I dip mine months before I need to install them in the car that way they can fully cure and not be so soft to the touch. I put the bushing and pin in after they are fully cured. The factory installed them after also. Alan, if you are doing it pre-dip how much fun is it to clean the cosm. off and make bush/pin look like it was never dipped? Jim, on that old pair from 3 years ago I didn't have the paint dab on it then. I have seen hemi orange, blue and white for dabs now.

Its It has runs and is now a bit flatter than in the pic after some time. This may not be accurate but at least it is durable.
