B-Body's gained a good 100lbs or so in '68, with the new slightly bigger body panels. Generally, you'll find 67 and earlier are a little lighter than the more popular 68-70's

My 70 R/T S.E. Charger weighs 4290 with a 1/4 tank of gas & me "not" in it. It is loaded with every available option but a sunroof. All of these options add up & still runs 12's.
Weighed with certified NASCAR scales & weighed at the track.

that's not good. I was hoping my 70 would be around 3800 w/ me in it. glass hood lower valance, no heat/ac box man steering and disc brakes. Shooting for mid-11's

I will get a weight on my 70 Charger RT 4speed car. It has shed some weight during the buildup. I will soon see just how much.

I always knew there was a bunch of "light weights" on the sight . Mine is 3960 with 1/2 tank and no driver.
