That looks nice! I want to get my compression up somehow and switch to E85.

Taxpayer subsidized race fuel. Only in America!
For the record, remember, The federal tax credit, called the Volumetric Ethanol Excise Tax Credit, also known as VEETC (sometimes referred to as the "blender credit") is a credit of $0.45 for every gallon of pure ethanol blended into gasoline; goes to the fuel blender, not the ethanol producer. So, in realality ethanol is not subsidized, the fuel use is. This credit offsets the federal motor vehicle fuel tax which is paid. The main reason ethanol is put in gasoline is for air pollution reduction.
Most of the ethanol in the US is used in regular pump gasoline (10% ethanol), so the blender tax credit often is going to the oil company that mixes it with gasoline before delivery to their stations.
I wish the tax credit went to the end fuel user, not the blender. Quote:
The Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 (P.L. 110-140, H.R. 6) amended and increased the RFS, requiring 9 billion gallons of renewable fuel use in 2008, stepping up to 36 billion gallons by 2022. Under the modified RFS, corn-based ethanol (conventional biofuel) is essentially capped at 15 billion gallons by 2015, while 21 of the 36 billion gallons in 2022 must be derived from advanced biofuel such as cellulosic and non-corn-based ethanol.

cruise down to ark city, they have it.
I still dont know if it would be good to change over to E85 if I have to drive 40-50 miles to get it. Dont know if it would be worth the conversion.
Thanks for the tip though!
