As MCG has been to do a story on Big Willie.In the past he shouldnt be as hard to find again .As Dr David Jackson of 70 daytona fame.This would be a good myth for the mopar MCG myth busters to solve.What happened to Big Willies daytonas .I heard 2 stories one was dipped for lighting purposes to many times.And other was left in to long on purpose

well wish me luck again today, as i call about 2 more 69 500's for sale. maybe one of them will turn out to be a decent car for the price. It seems I can find all kinds of 500's for sale now, but no daytona's that are even remotely in my price range. Talked to the wife again and she says $65,000 max, and that depends on what kind of an iterest rate we would get through a loan.

Also in this attachment 69 SE sunroof your dad use to have the buildsheet for this 356522 blue 4 speed car listed in his possesion in Nov of 86 newsletter.And this car is still around its a guy whos daytona numbers are close to a friends daytona 356521 .My friend NJ native Paul Kaufmann.So this maybe one of another of your dads old cars to surface as you found the R6 red daytona daytona and his Q5 69 charger 500 so far

It's amazing, but those posts are dated April 23, 2004. There are STILL 'Birds out there to be found. I could make a comment about Chevy guys,
but at least the guy who found it knew it was something special, even if he didn't know what it was. The blue 'Bird is the one on page 4 of the
Wing Cars section on carsinbarns.com (link below). I wonder what ever became of the car after it was towed away. Hopefully, the city
sold it at auction or an employee rescued it. I hope the orange one can be saved, too.

Here is what I'm thinking about the car 356522. I know that all of my dad's daytona's had build sheets in them, however i don't believe that any of them had the correct build sheets to the cars that they were in. I do recall him saying he never had a Daytona with a build sheet that matched the car. So what i'm curious about is, what color combo was the car 356522? Because it should be the same color interior as the one my dad had. I haven't heard of many B5 blue 4 speed Daytona's period, now this makes the 2nd mention of one in the last week. I saw one at the Chrysler Classic last weekend, that just happened to be the next car after my dad's R4 red Daytona. 409046, where as his R4 red car was 409045.

By the way the two cars that i'm looking at aren't gold. One is R4 red, and the other is the Q5 car, i'm still trying to get him to name a price for that one.

I'll see if I can dig up the Vin number to the car. I know its a 4 speed HEMI car. I might go up and take a look at it again this weekend. Its not going anywhere, as it has sat in the same barn/garage since 1981 so I don't think its leaving its spot anytime soon.

Would love to see a real Black Daytona. I know that Jim in Missouri has one that is undergoing resto, but haven't had a chance to check it out in person yet.
