Chris..
Well, it's been 6 weeks, and the paint is far from complete.. But there has been some very nice improvements. The doors actually open and close without lifting and slamming them. New hood, scoop, fuel access door, and wing adjustment. Also got my hands on some fair grille surrounds. They may just look better than okay. Also, while sanding and grinding away at cracks in the old paint, he found the stuff just about falling off from the violent shaking of the wreck in 2007. Glad I decided to start over with this.
It needs to warm up.. He doesn't want to continue until the temps get warmer.. That shouldn't be much longer in Vegas..
Chris..

Does any one here do header coating? I want the Nitro coating for mine..
Chris..
Opt for the Jet Hot....I have heard some bad stories about the Nitro Plate. Unless they have made improvements in the past 5 years or so.

Nitroplate did mine three years ago, the customer service was great. They still look great, the coating is tough too. I hung one of the collectors on the trailer and hair lipped it. I straightened it with a hammer on a anvil horn and just knew the coating would come off, it didn't even crack that I could see. They will be the only ones to do my coating .
