Yep, just clearance the hanger, not a big deal. I've had that exact set up on my car for a year or so. 100+ passes and at least 1000 street miles.

How much material did you take out of the hanger?, also if you decide to re use the lower hole, you have weakened the hanger and so much for the powdercoated finish.

this is also an issue with the mini tubbed relo stuff not just cass kit! im pullin my rear soon and Im gonna notch kinda like the pic below!
Thanks Sledge, I thought it was just me.
If you notch out the frame, the lower hole won't have much material around it?

I wonder if you could counter-sink both sides of the trianglular Cal-Trac brackets so you could run a couple flat head cap-screws inward from both sides.
Of course, you would also machine a spacer with internal threads between the 2 triangular brackets.
Cass, there is another product you could market. By the way, i am very happy with your offset kit. this is just a problem when using caltracks. rob.

Thats kind of the way it goes, I don't have any pictures to show how much I removed. And the car is outside in the cold gravel driveway, I'm not in the mood or clothes to crawl under it to take a picture LOL. Oh and I am using the lower hole, so technically I didn't need to do it, but I did just incase I ever wanted to move it up to the top I would have the clearance.

You won't go out in the freezing cold and crawl under your car, to help a aussie out. Whats the world coming to. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbs.gif)

Well when you put it like that. In the interest of diplomatic relations. Bad pictures, and you can't see the inside obviously. This is what I had to do to make it fit/work. I mocked it up in both positions, top and bottom of the hanger and top and bottom bar positions to make sure everything cleared and moved freely. The caltrac bar applies pressure to the spring before contact is made anywhere else. Ignore the mess, this car actually gets driven, like a lot.

Thanks man, I was only joking. Don't worry about the underside of your car.... all regular driven street cars look like that. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbs.gif)

Rob......Can't believe you made that poor fella climb under his car in the dark and cold for some photos...LOL
I was a bit disappointed.... there wasn't any snow under his car. ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif)
