truck scale had me at 3780 but i removed stuff and deducted best i could. i had figured my weight all this time was 3650. so, fill my car with gas i guess that would be 100 lbs maybe more. its not that far off. when i'm driving the car around i always have a tool box in the car so that could add a bit

are those numbers with you in the seat? i wouldn't worry about the horsepower, your making at least 500, 600 if you put it on cabs dyno ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh2.gif)

Both of Cabs dyno, once the Studka was calibrated. The air here in central Oregon with all the trees, makes lots of power All you doubters will be in big trouble when I come east on my next tour, look for the really fast blue Duster Any of you fast guys from east of the rockies coming to the MATS race If so I will make sure and put one of my good motors in the Duster for that race ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/devil.gif)

I weighed my duster on a Oregon state truck scale, it weighed 3550 lbs or so with me in it and a full tank of gas. I reweighed it at Las Vegas two months later with no changes to the car from the truck scales and it weighed 3150 lbs with me out of the car, that didn't add up ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shock.gif) I have since reweighed it on indididual certified 1000 lb platform scales and it weighs right at what the Las Vegas scales said it weighed ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbs.gif) truck scales are not real accurate at the lower readings is what I have been told by several weigh masters ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shruggy.gif) I now weigh myself on the scales before weighing the car to check the accuracy of the scales ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/scope.gif) Your corner weights are normal for most Mopars, you do have better weight distrubution on the right rear than my car does ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rant.gif) , I'm jealous ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/whistling.gif)

Fuel weighs 6.6 lbs/gallon using a sp of .8...where water weighs 8.33 lbs/gallon. Lighter than I would have thought. What fiberglass and weight reduction have you done? ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif)

I have a friend who races NHRA stock, he disassembled a 1971 Challenger and prep it to his best abiltiys to remove all unneeded parts and still be NHRA legal, no acid dipping He races it as a 1970 T/A, that car weighs under 3200 lbs with a 340 and a VFN T/A fibreglas hood wet My old 1970 Hemi Cuda 4 speed car hat to weigh 3440 lbs minumum with a half tank of gas wet with no driver with heavy Cragar SS wheels, no roll bar back then with full interior, carpet and heater box and no radio ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shruggy.gif)

I wondered about truck scales. They are calibrated in the upper ranges, much like a calibrated gauge, usually accurate in the upper 1/3 of their range IIRC .
