Yup! And with no end in sight! I've only got 11 pages though. Of course, that's cuz I have my preferences set at 99 posts per page. Ahhhh, the benefits of a cable modem!

This is just an out of the blue question, but Doug I know the car was painted to match a boat way back when. but did you guys have the boat? or was it painted to match a boat of a previous owner? any pictures of the car with the boat?
On the hunt for my dad's old cars. They include 5 Daytona's, 2 superbirds, and 2 500's. Very interested in finding the Red on Red Daytona, and Q5 Charger 500, and have found both cars.

Must be boat and wings cars go together.I had also heard of a boat that was rumored to have been like the past owners. The 5000 bronze mile hemi daytona from Pa.But never seen it.Though I had found a superbird in a boat storage yard alief marine and storage in the 80-s in houston texas. But didnt believe it thought guy who told me about that one and a few others in houston saw a similar looking type wing.Till I went over on sat or sun yard was closed .So I stood on my car and looked over the fence. To see a orange white interior superbird sitting .Mon I ask it was $3000.00 .Passed the car on to T Janak.Who sold it to Randy Purifoy of houston tx .Where the car is at nowadays ?.Theres only my finding picture on carsinbarns .I refer to the boat yard bird

Ah, now i see. I had always heard my dad talk about your car and how it was painted to match a boat, and that is also why it had a trailer hitch. But I hadn't ever seen any pictures of the car and the boat together. I have a ton of pictures of your car though from the early 80's. Anyone have a guess on how many total post this thread will get before they lock it? I mean i haven't seen any others get over 450, and this one is well over 1,000 now. Oh yeah, and man what kind of a prize did I get for having the 1,000 post in this thread? I think that if this thread keeps up it will have more post than John does.

Well, dave, I am going to take you up on it. One of these days I will be knocking on your door. I have a goal of trailering my cuda to the nats the summer that it is finished, so you might see me then. Hopefully sooner. Been dying to drive one of those since I was a teenage kid. I'll just have to look cross-eyed to stay on the correct side of the road. I should adapt after a few blocks...

Wait a minute! I'm John! Dave is ol' WingCars6970! Oh, and yep, within a few blocks, driving from the wrong side don't feel all that wrong anymore and starts to get kinda fun!
