Is the Carter M4845 fuel pump correct for both 440 & 440-6 in 1970? Or does the 6 pack get the hemi style fuel pump? Thanks! Joe

Is there a better option that is more correct than the 4845 pump?

There is a fellow selling NOS 73-74 dated pumps on e-bay from time to time for $200-$300
Every Carter one I have purchased looks ok.
I wonder how the rubber in that old pump is going to react with today's ethanol polluted fuels.

FJ5 Fish, why did you put that beautiful motor on a rusty K-Member? Say it aint so?
Where is the best place to get the correct fitting out of the pump so it works with the correct size hose for the seperator?
I rebuilt the engine on a low mile car and was going to leave the K-Frame original.....but, like you, I decided it looked too crappy...so I re-did it. It is the old "Where to start - where to stop" thing.
