I will think about giving it a shot of setting up a car show. I know that my dad put one together back in 1982 so i figure if he could handle it then I could too. I'll check it out, and see what I can come up with. I always remember the car shows from when I was little and there being like 70-80 winged cars at the events. Those are the shows i liked, i remember the one Mike Atkins threw back in the 90's down in Tenn. Great show. How long has it been since the winged cars did a lap at the Indy 500 track?

John, Pick a date and a place in your neck of the woods and we'll set something up. Detroit is always fun... You can tie it in with an activity, or we can come over to y'alls place for a driveway party.

Doug, that would be way cool. I'd be only too happy to help put something together. Lemme kick some ideas around and maybe come up with some cool activities and another show to maybe hold it in conjunction with kinda like the CEMA show in 2001. Maybe spring of '05 seeing as how ya already have a good bit of stuff going on with Belvidere and Talladega this year?

It got sold on ebay I believe .I took the picture and had my friend mike in NJ post it and several more like it on carsinbarn.com.The car was from Dallas TX where it was bought I recall for $250.00 where Tom M of NY found it.And later sold it to another Mopar guy Greg

Tell ya what I'll check into it about the indy 500 track, my wife works with some people that put on events at the track quite regularly. So I'll see what can be done for a reasonable rate. Another spot I thought would be decent for the winged cars and talladega's is IRP Raceway park. I haven't ever been up to auburn to see the museum up there. I have heard good things about it, and I know the Dodge Charger registry had an event up there last year. If I tried to line something up it would probably be for 2 years down the road.

Only with the 440 69 charger 500s had AC.I didnt raise hood on the white one to look for the H51 AC code.But picture shows a AC condensor in the front radiator area

Hey wingcars, any idea on how many total 500's were produced with a/c? If that one had a/c, i know of a green 500 SE that has a/c also. How many were made?
