I hear of a daytonas with trees growing either over them or through them.Heard from one guy in GA says theres a hemi car daytona in a backyard parked sideways as its a swing set of some sorts .And the wing cause of its angle has metal covered plywood touching the ground and resting on top of the wing is used as a sliding board for the kids.I have no picture or was ever able to document .This but we know it happens Jerry services daytona prior owner carried plywood on the roof and wing of his daytona

Dave, if that's true about the Georgia car, the owner should be shot by firing squad at sundown...

Okay well i'll try once again to go see my dad's old Daytona this weekend. I am 100% selling my sunroof car though. That is if the guy can come up with the money. So then the real hunt for a wing car will be on.

I'll be selling the 69, if all goes well. I tried once again to go see my dad's old car but the current owner was out of town this weekend. Or at least i didn't ever get ahold of him this weekend. Its not a big deal, but I get so excited thinking about being able to see my dad's old car again, its a bit of a downer.
Reason i'll sell the 69 is because the wife doesn't know we have the 70 yet. So i'll sell it, tell her i bought the 70 with the money. but in reality i'm trying to work out a deal for either a 500 or a Daytona. I have located a few people with projects, and am trying for one of them.

Drove to look at a "Daytona" for sale yesterday. I was getting a little excited, $40,000 for the car and its all complete. I show up car is gorgeous. I start looking it over, pop the hood, and look and see the 440 glaring back at me. Then I get to check the numbers. HMMMM, XP29, can anyone say CLONE. Car had a real wing and nose cone on it, but it was a clone. I was a hoping, but its all good, dont think my wife would have been happy about me spending that much money right now.

There recently has been an F8 green SE Daytona that a dealer advertised outside of Chicago? Are we talking about the same car? I thought that car was legit? The ask on it was like 80k.

I saw the F8 69 SE daytona .In some link to a dealer in Chicago.After searching 69 daytonas for sale.Think it was a former canadian owner car.

I believe that the 69 Daytona SE is a real car that is for sale up in Chicago. However this car was in valparaso indiana. And the add now reads a Daytona clone with a real wing and nose cone. but the price still list it at $40,000. Then again they are the same ones that are advertising a 70 HEMI cuda (rebodied) for $85,000. Oh and to answer john, no i didn't take any pics of it, after i figure it was a clone. I mean a clone would be great to just have to drive around and enjoy but not for t hat kind of money it wouldn't be.
