Hello Bob, I totally agree with everything said directly below. "Since we can assume your not buying any heads from BGR why are you curious? As I have always said,I'am not here to promote sales just offering to help anyone on Mopars get good pricing.A better question to ask is how many on Mopars have dealt with BGR and were treated with fairness and respect and great pricing.I'am also not here to set pricing for you to work off of." Jeff is OPENLY asking what your prices are on what he has traditionally put out as a winter special. Yes he is weighing his decision on weather to make his normal offer. I can only say he was upright and open about his intensions. This next part is just a smart azz junk. "If trying to help Mopars members is stepping on yours or any other toes, then we will not try and help so you and the other advertisers can control the market. Why don't you post the price of all your "special deals"instead of trying to take issue with a legitimate offer to help that we posted." As you well know Jeff or any other provider does not control the market. As a matter of fact you have set yourself out as separate from the sponsors of this site by citing the "other advertisers". Jeff has provided his prices in the past. Have you? This is just a cheep shot. "Lets see your sincerity and your willingness to help fellow Mopar enthusiasts or is it all about profit." Jeff has helped many with cost savings. So have you Bob. I also applaud you for being a MUCH better provider of technical information than Jeff over time. Thank you Bob! Again I totally agree with your next comment. "Anyway if anyone doubts our intensions then don't buy from BGR,there are many other good dealers here to choose from." Your next comments are junk again. "Sorry we made the offer in your domain since you only respond to my post when it effects your pocket, like the "Source Post". Respectfully Bob" Just another jab. Trying to start a fight. You might think of it as a defense but it is purely offense. You are not sorry for anything about this thread. Jeff has not taken the bait. Bob I know this pisse's you off. I also know you are very intelligent and a great Mopar man and Moparts contributor. I just cannot set by at times when you get passive agressive. I respect you but sometimes your attitude get under my skin. Oh and sometimes I cannot keep my mouth shut. Damon

i dont know if i should post this,, but i thought about this and decided im not doing a group buy,,, bob is going to offer my group buy price as a daily thing, so he can do it. i bought my cnc for $285,000.00 let me ask you,, how do you pay for that by not charging? the labor i put in to the "group buy" for porting is 500 bucks,, so considering tool wear and cost of electricity, you have to port 600 sets of heads to pay for it,, if you had to pay a guy to run it even just a reasonable wage its probably 700 sets... then buy a serdi, valve grinder, surfacer, jet wash, we are talking $350,000.00 in equipment thats involved,, and then you have shop rent, heat, insurance,, etc..
all heads would be decked to whatever chamber volume you want,, within reason,, if there is an intake comp cut its a little more,, like 40 bucks or so
full cnc porting valve job on a serdi hand blended valve job and misc blending in ports decking assemble if guides need to be sized, thats in there as well
edelbrock heads price is with me supplying heads of course,, if you send in your heads you already have,, and pay with a check its 700.00 for all labor plus parts and return shipping
bb mopar edelbrock 2100 sb mopar edelbrock 2000 indy 440-1 with all indy parts and 10 degree locks/retainers 2450
this is all a cash/check price in the group buy that im not doing,, c-card is a lil more.. if after "MORE" drama on here noone can provide these services for the amounts listed,, then maybe ill go ahead with it
hasnt been many other heads mentioned,,, so ill leave it at that for now..

Jeff, those who have dealt with you know the group deal you have offerred is one of the best deals going. You have also given good consideration to 2 other jobs I gave you; and I am nobody in the real world of racing. You have given me input at the track, and I have seen you do this for others.
The difference between you and BGR is you are a man of fewer words. BG may be a great guy with great service, but he does come off as a promoter for his own agenda, which often seems to lead into a pissing match. Maybe that is just the way the written word comes off on the internet, Do not let this get out of hand.
Some people want all those extra words and reassurances. Some people want to sell and service everything to everyone. Jeff, you sell and service only one specialty. You do what you do extremely well, and do not have time for pissing matches. I seriously don't think you will lose out. Like you said, you have 80 to 90 sets of heads waiting to be done.
Too many cars, too many parts, too little coin, too little space to work in, too little time left to make it all happen!
Update: down to one ride, still too many parts, a little more jingle in the pocket, gaining space, and it's going to happen this year!

I forgot to add this...And not to piss anyone off..If I didn't have Roger(Radar}Lechtenberg 50 miles from me,I would have no problem having Jeff at Modern or Dwayne Porter doing my stuff... Radar did my MP aluminum 383-440 heads...
So sorry but my only choice would be Best Machine.

................Jeff, he said "polished". I wonder if he is refering to the tooling marks left by the CNC machine. If so, then he just doesn't know.
