I don't mean this to sound ugly Pete, but what if they were??? The cylinder head business, or anything about hot rods in general, is full of people who take others ideas and run with it. You guys don't make the head, they are cast by Brodix. If you wanted to get technical about it...I guess you guys copied Koffel and made some improvements along the way....correct?

Hello, Anyone who intends to make advances looks at the progress that has been made and evaluates the info and then looks for improvements. If Jeff is analyizing what Best Machine has done on the PSO heads it a compliment to Pete and his company. Damon

Pete are you pretty much saying you took the blank head and made it what it is and now someone is taking what you created to copy/sell right out! if so I can see why this would make someone upset
Funny , no one seemed to care about that when another company did the same thing with an Ebrock RPM head a few years ago because the end product was cheaper.

I totally agree!
When you type B1 PSO into Google, look what pops up first

Sorta says MM had made their own CNC port???? When Chuck stated MM purchased a set from them, I am a little confused as to why, since they supposedly have their own port/head.......Sounds a little fishy.

yep and look where we are now because of it. when we lose holley, edelbrock and others because they are always footing the bill on R&D then what?
we will have nothing but hacks left
Well the way I see it is that someone comes up with something better but at a price that most wont pay, then someone else takes the idea and makes it afordable for the rest.Would there be any aftermarket blocks if someone didnt copy a original block and then improve on it? Monte pointed out that the head even though a blank came from somewhere else and Pete made the improvements and so the next person will improve on Pete's design, even with a patent improvements will allow one to sell the same head! It only takes a small change.
