Yeah I reckon you're right about them having more memories over 20 years. Oh well, give it your best shot. Oh, and by the way, you can get a low interest loan with no money down through Capital One and buy the car on payments if they were to let it go. That can help make a seemingly unaffordable car affordable.

Well that would be ideal. However I don't think my wife would go for the idea of swinging another car loan. I'd definately go for it if it was a reasonable price. but for now that is putting the cart before the horse as i haven't even seen it yet just talked to him about it.
On the hunt for my dad's old cars. They include 5 Daytona's, 2 superbirds, and 2 500's. Very interested in finding the Red on Red Daytona, and Q5 Charger 500, and have found both cars.

Well there is always that option, but i kinda like having those cars. See call me a hoarder if you will but i don't think i could ever just have 1 car and be satisfied. I like having more than 1.
On the hunt for my dad's old cars. They include 5 Daytona's, 2 superbirds, and 2 500's. Very interested in finding the Red on Red Daytona, and Q5 Charger 500, and have found both cars.

I'm working on it. Some day i'll have one. Some day. I'd sell the other house to get one but my wife letting me do something like that is a different story. For now i'm happy with knowing people who have them, who i might be able to talk into letting me ride with them to some shows. And knowing where at least a few of my dad's cars are now. Knowing that they are in good hands, at least all 3 of the ones i've found so far are in the same hands for 15-20 years now.

We need to take your wife for a ride in a Dayotna. When y'all come up here, we'll all go for a spin. If she ain't hooked within 30 minutes, you may have to resort to more drastic measures...

Yeah i know she grew up in a family that has 50's chevies. so i'm having to teach her reality, and that is that MOPARS rule. So far she does admit to liking chargers, hence the reason i've been able to talk her into getting 1 (okay so i have 2 but she only knows about 1). And she does like blue daytona's and silver Daytona's. Now my son on the other hand, well he'll love Daytona's and mopars i mean who wouldn't growing up with me?

OMG!!! Your wife doesn't know about the second Charger??? Have you lost your mind??? If ya don't tell her and she finds out second hand, then she'll never go for ya getting another car!
Now your son on the other hand, is gonna love ol' Mopars cuz that's his daddy's passion!

She saw the second charger. Said it looked 10 times nicer than the 69 i bought. Although she thinks i went with a buddy of mind down to buy it (she thinks he bought it as its stored at his house). Eventually i'll let her know that I am the one who bought it. But maybe not, depends on if it have to sell it (that way i can keep the money towards another car).
And you wouldn't believe the fight my wife put up when i said i was going to name our son Daytona. I then tried for Dart (as that is my uncles name). And eventually settled in agreement on Dakota.

Wow, no kidding? A kid with a Mopar name, that's really cool! I reckon Dakota is a little more mainstream than Daytona or Dart. Ya could have named him Duster and called him Dusty. I know, I know, I need to stick to my day job...

I was thinking more along the lines of Dodge for the next one, or still holding out for a remote chance of Daytona flying on the next one.

Somehow I just can't see the wife giving in and going for Daytona but hey, it's worth a shot!
I remember when Gary Rollins from the Rapid Transit System named his daughter Chelsea Amber Rollins -- C.A.R. That was interesting...

If i'm not mistaken there is a gentleman up in Michigan with a daughter named Daytona. I might be wrong someone once told me that. Before i was married i was holding out on finding her. JK
