I'm using a Shifnoid setup on my Quarterstick rev pattern VB but I want to go to a clean neutral transbrake VB and keep an automated shifter.

I have a few ideas about modifying my current set up but if I can just buy one or if someone else has modified one it would help a lot.

I made air shifter from B&M pro ratchet just add air cylinder in it. Few years ago move to neutral vb and just add one more micro switch in it so it does`n shift any more at 3 gear. It´s wery simple and work very well.

The Precion Products shifter would work but it's an additional $700. Not what I want to do if I don't have to, the valvebody alone is $700.

Bob at Contender Products that is the distributor for Shifnoid also suggested that or the B&M ratchet 4 speed shifter but then again that's another kit and another shifter.

I think I can machine a longer clevis to attach the gate bar to the solenoid so it will pick up the shifter where neutral is now and then lengthen the slot at the rear of the bar so I have enough room to hit the clean neutral. I think that would work if I have enough length at the back of the gate bar to lengthen the slot.

Well after looking at my setup machining the gate bar won't work. I'd have to machine a new one.

Wow, only one person running an air shifter and a clean neutral valvebody?

Have you looked at Turbo Action. I think with the right gate plate it should work.

I use the turbo action shifter and Dedenbear air shifter. My Shifter is P/N 70011 reverse pattern.
Problem is 1st is neutral with this safe neutral valve body so the ramp is wrong had to do lots of modify to get it to work. Cut down the ramp and weld a new plate to change the angle also the Dedenbar shifter rod end was too soft and would mushroom over and stopped it from shifting welded a valve lash cap on the end problem solved.
I haven’t seen your system but I’m sure you should be able to get it to work. Or just buy one that works with the safe neutral. Why do you need the safe neutral?
