OK, details on your pro stock motor then?

For pro stock with a BBM I would do a 4.375" x 3.950" B1 head short deck motor. Should make over 1000 hp, and at legal weight should be competitive.

For a SBM the W8 deal should be even better.

Sold everything and went back to index racing nostalgia super stock. prior to racing nmca prostock and ram racing 10.5 I won the championship in nmca nostalgia muscle car should have kept that car but wanted to move up to a heads up class and loved prostock but I just could not justify spending 10-15k per year racing to be 2-3 tenths behind needed to be spending 20-30k just couldn't do it and yes those are real numbers after you have the car built just testing and updating stuff

There's a great cross section of N/SS cars in SE MI. Great bunch of guys, very competitive, affordable. I'm building a new 64 Belvedere for next year.
Doug

So where else do you guys NSS race? Eventually, just a few NMCA races a year may not be enough.

There 's plenty. NMCA,Chrysler Classics,East Coast N/SS,Texas Outsiders,Good Guys,Monster Mopar,Mopar Nats. All run N/SS or Max Wedge. There some NHRA Super Stock/Stock combo races that allow us as well.
