I will run any offers by the owner.
GG said I would do better privately over auction.
I have talked with Mecum, Barrett Jackson and Russo & Steele, and I am lukewarm about the auction thing other than getting to be a participant.

That's a really neat car. So cool to see that it lasted all these years relatively untouched.

Total coolness!

very nice, I am glad you are helping the owner out.....
Here is another 6-pack 71 I have been trying to buy for the last 9 yrs but the owner would rather it sit there and rott in the desert than to sell it.

Interesting how the hood hinges are black on an otherwise original car

You should contact Tim Welborn

The trim tag and the hood hinges should be body color and the master cyl and brake booster were not black. It looks like the motor may have been taken apart or maybe just the top end was taken apart. Did you check the vin on the motor ?? I like the color combo, espec the interior.

Why are the 450 wheels black? I thought they would be body color, or was that a mid-year change?

Black is correct - It was a mid year change.

Nice car - they all need a "shave and a haircut". Some quick stuff I see - Valve cover looks funky (I know - that's a whole other thread ), negative cable needs changing and the dipstick handle should be orange, the dipstick tube should be unpainted. What is the radiator number?

I don't have any 71 Lynch Road cars but the 69's had un-painted fender tags....Did Lynch start painting them after 69?

That looks awesome!

I have a 71 Challenger in the same color. Mine has body colored wheels, but I think I like the black steel wheels better!

Great car!

Not crazy about '71 Chargers but this one is AWESOME looking in the color combo and 440-6 to boot!!! Great car, i would buy it if i had the funds to toss around!!!!! What about finding the guy that has that large collection of '71 Chargers? I would guess he'd be interested and has the DOUGH $$$$$$

I'm the CARETAKER of Weinstats '69 440 'cuda registry and have 104 of the 360 cars to date. 84 fastbacks/20 coupes. Always looking for new(REAL M-code) '69 440 'cudas to add to the registry so drop me a note if any are found or known. This isn't a publicly released registry. Thanks, Dave

My '70 Lynch rd tag was painted body color. My understanding is that they were often hung in the interior and recieved varying degrees of paint depending on the guy doing the painting.
