It looks like the motor may have been taken apart or maybe just the top end was taken apart. Did you check the vin on the motor ?? I like the color combo, espec the interior.

Some quick stuff I see - Valve cover looks funky (I know - that's a whole other thread ), negative cable needs changing and the dipstick handle should be orange, the dipstick tube should be unpainted. What is the radiator number?

I don't have any 71 Lynch Road cars but the 69's had un-painted fender tags....Did Lynch start painting them after 69?

Great car, i would buy it if i had the funds to toss around!!!!! What about finding the guy that has that large collection of '71 Chargers? I would guess he'd be interested and has the DOUGH $$$$$$ I'm the CARETAKER of Weinstats '69 440 'cuda registry and have 104 of the 360 cars to date. 84 fastbacks/20 coupes. Always looking for new(REAL M-code) '69 440 'cudas to add to the registry so drop me a note if any are found or known. This isn't a publicly released registry. Thanks, Dave

My understanding is that they were often hung in the interior and recieved varying degrees of paint depending on the guy doing the painting.
