Just got off the phone with Brewers, They think that since my engine was line bored, that thats why the tranny falls out of 4th gear under decell. Now this did this with 2 different engines, and both were line bored. But now Im switching to a lakewood bell, so He sujjested to have the thing measured out for runout, and make sure I am dialed inn.
Has anyone else had this same issue?

I can read into your answer that you didn't like the price, I didn't either but after getting them installed I know they were worth it. Quality items that are well engineered.
Same here , the only alternative I know of is the Lakewood dowels and they are actually FORD dowels even though they list them as ford and mopar. they are too big for mopar and you can't easily adjust them , the RobbMc make dialing in a snap.

Yep and seen them loosen on an indicated torkflite. All the work to do that and to have that happen... Luckily it wasnt my deal, would have pitched em in a heartbeat. Think about it. Any vibes and bolts loosen. That happens and the bell moves around. only downside with those.

I plan on using the green penetrating lock tight. That stuff if like a weld when it sets up.
Blue should fine , if you use the red or thaat green you'll never get it apart . I use blue on flexplates bolts on a diesel and they do not loosen .
Scott , good tip on them loosening up. Fitting the lakewoods is an understatement, they are .004 too big into a hole that a is press fit for a .496 size pin, people have cracked their blocks using them .

You may have to align the side cover for ease of reverse engagement. using early style cover? Late covers and cases had some alignment holes here the shoulder of the bolt aligned the case to housing. early ones float a bit and sometimes need to be pried upward while tightening cover bolts for ease of reverse engagement.
John, Had my share of loose dowels too. Get impatient fitting and make too small. usually stick dowel in drill press and use sandpaper with file or stick backup.
Thanks for the TIP!!
It worked! Very simple, and I can feel the results on the bench.
