A barn fresh Superbird from Tennessee showed up on eBay today, check it out:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2460464103&category=43921

Here are a few pictures of the car... from the looks of the sagging loft, somebody better buy it quick!

Does anyone know this guy (Barry from Corryton, TN)? Is it from the same Superbird barn nest that someone posted pictures of earlier? How high will it bid?... Any guesses?

If i'm not mistaken the same Barry from Tenn, has a green Daytona, and also a 70 Coronet R/T that is a 440-6 pac car. I might be wrong, but i remember going to look at the 440-6 pac Coronet, and him having a white bird, and a green Daytona.

On the hunt for my dad's old cars. They include 5 Daytona's, 2 superbirds, and 2 500's. Very interested in finding the Red on Red Daytona, and Q5 Charger 500, and have found both cars.

In the background of one of the eBay pictures you can see a 1979 Chrysler 300 and an orange colored car that may be another Superbird:

I thought it might be at the same location as the barn full of Superbirds someone posted pictures of. Here is a cropped version of one of those pictures:

Anyone know if it is? It is good to see it will be getting moved to better accomodations...

Is that a Cyclone or Talladega next to the orange Superbird?

This is a rough charger 500 that I looked at in CA about 2 years ago. It was a very rusty car, the guy that owned it was hoping to restore it but was unsure if it was worth messing with.

This is a very rough 4-speed, 6-pack car that is numbers matching!, you can see it has been in a swamp and has a little rust, might require a patch or two . It is a shame because he does have the numbers tranny and block and also has the dana for the car.

This is a 6-pack auto car that was sitting near a road but then disappeared, I have been told he just moved the cars back into the woods further so you cannot see them from the road. There were a couple of cool car there, the bird and a 70 6-pack charger plus some other cool cars.

Sure looks like a white Talladega. Can't see the front fenders...

Carroll Beeler was a fellow from Corryton TN back in the day who had some Birds. Click on the link to see them at Talladega in 1976...

The car in the pic with the Superbird is a Talledega. As I believe that Mike has about 18 of them now, or at least he did last time i went down to his place. And its not Mike who is selling the bird, its a guy named Barry. And i don't believe the green Daytona on Carsinbarns.com is the same one that Barry has. however his is also under the same barn as the White superbird that is for sale.

I have a couple of pictures of what I believe are Daytona Charger pilot cars. I am sure the Wingcar experts are familar with the cars and the story. Here is the first pic.

Wow, lots more way cool pictures! Scat, that purple Daytona ragtop is up here in Michigan and gets driven quite regularly. We kept trying to catch up with it at some of the Cruise Nights but kept on missing it. Hope to see it this summer as it looks like a really cool ride.

HemiOrangeTA, cool pics, the Daytona in the last two pictures is the cause of a great deal of controversy. It is clearly a 1970 Charger that was converted into a Daytona. There is no rear window plug however. Cool car whose whereabouts and history could help to solve a lot of mysteries!

Here's one tough looking Daytona. Check out the gas price on the sign above the car. Dates the picture.
