Dual line swining pick up going in this time. Had to bring the motor mount and headers in to make sure evrything would clear. It's tight but it works. Final install. Lines are all in With any luck we may be on the pump this Fri. Couple other motors are slated before mine can go on but if all goes well If not then Tues

Twin Turbo Mower super stock Joined: Apr 2004 Posts: 1,056 Mt.Vernon IL	Looks good Bill. Keep an eye on your balancer. I had one just like it. The fancy ring that bolts to the front via the 6 small screws came off on me and the balancer seperated from the hub.

The first thing we did when we got the balancer is remove all those screws and add Loc Tite. So far so good

Ive personally witnessed a mishap with one and have read some bad reports here on moparts about them as well. no disrespect to you or the builder. just an FYI

Money well spent on the Charlie's pan and Milodon pump and pick up Been thinking about ditching my HP-1 for a System 1 or other style screen type filter. Probably save some coin in the long run Hope to see some numbers posted this weekend I'll be at the Columbus swap meet this Saturday so I won't be able to attend the Dyno session this time

sg66mopar pro stock Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 1,288 Oregon	Bill Have you thought about pre filters in the oil lines. Now that you have a nice new pump it'd be good to keep it that way inside. I bought the same pump for my car and pumped some debris through it about the second or third time out. Really chewed up the inside of the new pump. I bought two inline screen type filters from Summit and installed them right at the pan. Pretty small and easy to do. Big enough screen that the don't restrict oil flow but they'll keep those big nasty chunks out of your pump. I might be able to post a picture later today, or maybe somebody else already has one?

I can tell you 10 quarts will be what were putting in it and I asked that it be about 3/4 of an inch shallower than my Milodon so it was more level with the K frame.

Moparnut426 I Live Here Joined: Mar 2007 Posts: 12,016 Finally a HUSKER again	Sorry Bill that set up is long gone as we sold off the big bullet. It was pretty simple. Dad and I just made a double keyed aluminum bracket that fit the 2 parts, i think they were 7/8 or 15/16, and from there that was tiged in a small spot to keep it on the filters, then we had a tab that had a holt off of ot going to the oil pan rail. If i was better on the computer Id draw up the basic idea. It was nice and solid, and very clean except where the tig weld was we had to sand the anodizing off for a spot weld. Hope that helps Bill. They look like they are very "pourus", not real fine. Should the pans pickup not be sufficient to stop anything that those might? I have a custom made pickup with a screen that does not look to much unlike the filter screen in those. Just curious.. "I am not ashamed to confess I am ignorant of what I do not know."
