Anyone have the bolt lengths, placement and the layout for the washers, dipstick bracket, etc., for a ‘68 Road Runner with a 383? Are the engine mount brackets supposed to be the same on each side? I looked at parts info and it had the same part numbers for the left and right brackets and the insulators but one of the brackets has a sleeve on the lower bolt hole and I can’t remember which side it goes on? I have new insulators, a set of brackets and a bunch of bolts, nuts washers and a new motor in the garage that I was just going to bolt onto a complete k-frame and had a brain f@rt. The car its going into is not here for me to take a look at the layout to help this old feeble brain to remember the bolt and washer layouts and I’m sure I missing something. I'm not even sure if I have the correct hardware at this point Thanks for any help.

If you have the bolts somewhere, it will be easy to tell. They are fine threaded silver bolts with one flat washer and locking nut per each (with the dot in one shoulder). Mine have an M stamped on the end. The direction of the bolts is clearly indicated in a diagram in your service manual. Here's a picture of my RH side.

John, THANKS! I got your pm also and was going to take photos of what I have. Thanks too for the photo you posted and yes the bolts I have are all fine thread bolts. The engine mount with the sleeve is what is confusing me? I also found the part book with fasteners that I got from Bill Allphin that shows the fasteners and a different left and right mount but does not have the details on the mount with the sleeve?
