Should be blowing the tires off. Make certain of your timing and you should be all in well below your launch rpms. You may want to limit your mechanical advance. My initial timing is at 18, at 37 by 2000. Also make certain that your float level is not too high. It caused me major headaches until I realized I was dumping fuel in on the launch. When it launches hard, you will need jet extensions. The weight of the flywheel should not be an issue, just raise the rpms and you end up with the same amount of stored energy.
You'll want more gear in the future.
