The bars do need to be installed correctly L and R and they will be marked. Except for the 1" and thicker bars.

I cant find a #920 bar anywhere. But, there is a .920 diameter bar. The numbers for that are 448,and 9 for the a body and 780 and 1 for the B and E bodies. mike

I had my T bars out to try drag bars and want to put them back in!! They are marked left and right but which way is the back???? (or front??)
Thanks in advance!!

Original bars have the paint splotches towards the rear of the car. I think that is just to make it easier to ID the car going down the assembly line. Also, original cars have two paint splotches on one side only.

Then those bars should be stamped 780R and 781L As long as you have them on thier correct sides. It doesnt matter witch way the bar is installed front to back, as the twist will be in the same direction.

But since they are aftermarket bars they may be stamped on only one end. If thats the case, you will want to install the stamped end toward the rear for a easy visual identification for you or anybody else for future identification.

Further, the "Even" numbered bar is always the ":Right" side bar. mike

OK the .920 bars are back in and I put the ends with
the T Y under the 780/781 L and R to the front left in left of course
the backs are 780/781 L & R with 237 under to the rear.
What a difference When I took them out last Saturday I had somehow got them switched and the Left was in the right side and Right was in the left side and it took all the adjustment to get it to the ride height I wanted. Guess they got switched when I put the motor in last spring as i pulled the bars for more room.
Anywho now it only takes about 40 to 50 % of the adjustment to get it to the ride height I want.

Thanks for all the help.
