Well it had a nice set of bead lock wheels so it must have been making some steam. Any word on what happened?

Edit I see at least one turbo in the wreckage.

Real real sad. That car ran real hard with a pretty basic combo. Glad the driver is ok tho.

I have no idea if its a fact but, a person told me that he had installed new front brakes so that he could hold it better to build boost ..

And this was 1st pass after the install, could be a bs story so take it for what its worth

Lots of fast moosetangs here , lots of them
devoted local following

And the 10.5 thing is big, great when track is perfect but, when its not ..

Crashing here is normal, that an big wheelstands that result in smashed pans , etc

Glad he's OK. I wonder why the roll cage broke at the weld though?

I'd post my thoughts on that, but since I already started tissue issues on another post for picking on SlowerGlides, I guess I'll leave this one alone.

Was the cage welded at all? It looks like it really came apart.

Glad to hear the driver is OK

The owner said on the Dallas Mustang site that the cage was already installed when he bought the car. He thinks the cage was put in about 15 years ago..the owner stated he was suprised it held up that well.

Still hard to believe he pretty much walked away without injury. Just sore and one eye is still blurry.

Wow indeed...!
All of this because of a loose fan-belt?

After a crash like that, I consider the guy 'lucky' the car didn't catch on fire aswell, with all that mangled stuff on there.

I hate to see anyone wreck. But this only reinforces my dislike for the 10.5 classes. They seem unsafe to me.
