We should have room in the truck. You could drop off a car at the house or something convient for the last leg to Memphis. Let me know for sure. Thanks to all for the well wishes!!!  Hey Plastic if your working the tower maybe you could 'clean-up' our ET slips? Rounding-down of course.  While were there, any chance illuminating the win-light board on our lane too?

got to the track at 9am for a rental, after the rental was the No ET Nats, I left at 2:30am.
I was working head of staging.

its amazing how they let us line up along the walls out to the 60 ft marks with parts flying off the cars as guys where rippin rears out and guys almost losing it into the walls  one guy lost a 9 inch right in front of us and the drive shaft still had the pinion support still on it as it roll down the track ! they just kick a few parts to the side and a quick clean up and let them run no tech at all ! so anything went some really fast stuff showed up that dont run at the track, they dont want anyone knowing how fast they are as they street race for $$$$$$$$$ twice i seen them pick up tools off the track that guys left under the hoods and would fall out when they took off  total off the hook meet a few members there for the first time also and hung out with alot of cool people always a blast hangin with Randy and Sean, they are a total Roit

Hey it was great to meet a few guys off of moparts (Bobsprofab) and (Partsforsale).
And yes the no et events at milan are a great time they bascially let you stand anywhere and you see some of the coolest heads up racing anywhere. Its crazy to watch what some of those guys will do to win a race.

there is tech, but its basically to look at the major things, it is a pretty much run what you brung deal.
it is off the hook, I lost count how many times i had to leave the head of staging, walk up to the bleach box and basically be yelling out, "MAKE WAY", "MAKE A HOLE", "MOVE", just so the next car can get in the water box to make a run, and then the crowd just filled in around that car I made room for, blocking the next one, saw one get sideways in the water, imagined it taking out a couple spectators
I was on the line for a couple runs, and I didnt want to be standing where I was just to keep people from going out too far on the line!
Had a couple cars come out from Chicago to "bounty hunt" some Detroit guys that they lost a race to earlier in the year, (the negotiations, smack talk in the lanes were hilarious.)
saw a Jeep SRT out run a NHRA Legal Super Stock Cobra Jet.

pretty much incident free until 1:45am, when a motorcycle took off, did a wheelie, flipped it completely over, and the bike came down on the driver... (2am curfew and 6 or 7 pairs to run, two of which were races for some $$$$$$.)
tehe rider ended up cracking his spine in a couple places, will be in the hospital and then a back brace for 10 weeks...
there is one more left this year, it is something special thats for sure. here are some videos already posted online,
