I'm sure some of you may remember Ken Brown Chrysler-Plymouth from their ads in some of the old NASCAR programs advertising Superbird close-outs for $3,195. Well, last night I ran across a business card from a salesman from Ken Brown Chrysler-Plymouth named Don Cenkner. I have no idea where this card came from. Ken Brown Chrysler-Plymouth has been gone for many, many years now. I'm thinking the card may have come in the small envelope of stuff I got with the yellow Superbird but am not sure. I guess it's also a possibility that my yellow Bird may have originally been sold through Ken Brown Chrysler-Plymouth but unlike the Daytonas, I don't believe there is any remaining documentation as to what dealers Superbirds were shipped to. Is there any way of researching any of this?

here's a couple of pics from june of '90. This was sitting in Rapid City, SD. According to a local this was the only 'Bird sold new out of a Rapid City dealership and they still had the paperwork on it.

WOW!!! Them three pics are indeed of a naked Bird! Those were from the 1986 Supercar Showdown at Quaker City Dragway in Salem, Ohio!!! Man, does that bring back some cool memories! Thanks a bunch for posting em!!!

Getting tired of having to reboot This pic (and present) I was hoping to have as a surprise to you before you went for the ROO RUNNER but computer glitches in my sister-in-laws computer haulted the progression. That Petty Blue Bird is Jim Walton's Bird out of Florence, Kentucky. Jim has owned that Bird for more than 20 years. It's a 426 Hemi 4-speed but originally a 440 car. I still have some way cool video footage from the 1983 Mopar Nationals where Jim entered the Hemi Bird in the gymkhana competition. Now THAT was cool!

You're killing me with all the cool old memories! That last one is from the 1986 Mopar Nationals when all the wings did a parade lap down the National Trail quarter-mile!
