so i got the car leveled front to back/side to side, measured about 300 times and cut the front clip off of my 47 desoto. i have an 88 dakota front clip to go on. i have about the front half of the dakota frame(much longer than i need) what can i use to set the level on to level it front to back?

Don't know if this will help, but the fat man fab front stub I used had me measure from the floor to the top of the core support mount before I cut the frame, then when I put their front clip into my frame rails, I just had to jack the front up where their core support was the same height or a little lower than the original core support mount height. Easier to shim the core support up than try to get it to go down.

Seems to me the Dakota frames were level at the bottom of the side rails, but I have a factory service manual in the shop that has frame alignment specs, let me check that today, and I will let you know tonight.

I believe someone posted a copy of the Dakota frame specs on this forum at one time, might still be here someplace. Gene
