Personally I think they put too much emphasis on the race program and forgot about the show and swap people which probably cost them needed income, but...that being said I have also felt that Charlie and company somehow ran afoul of mother nature, they had a lot of rain outs over the course of their time that would have depleted even the most deepest of pockets.I don't know where the CC events are going to end up in the grand scheme of things but I hope it continues in some form, it has the potential of being a great series.

Excellent and well spoken Bob. I agree with Bob. My family and I will not be involved with this rumor mill, the obnoxious cheap shots and false acusations. PLEASE STOP THE MADNESS.

We are here to have fun, love the sport and meet fellow Mopar enthusiasts. We are supposed to be a family here. I don't understand the negative perception people are making of the Events series and all the people involved. Please think before you type. Please understand there are challenges to overcome, it is not easy to run the show, especially when irrelevent rumors, old information and the negative attitudes are flying.
All of us should be grateful for CCEvents and the people that run the show, my family and I are grateful and can't thank them enough for their continued persistance in paving the paths to creating the best program ever.

If you don't like the program or people, it should be simple:

A: make a positive suggestion to the family running the show, they are open for suggestions always.
B: DON'T COME, Don't talk about it, and quit ruining everyone else's fun.

I apologize in advance if anyone is offended from my message. I have a passion for racing and Mopars and darn it, I had to speak my peace.

You're funny in the fact that you dont want people to talk about a violent criminal that walks among you at the races. If he molested children should we be quiet then too? Just cause some people have fun at his events and sell product at his venues, the rest of the people should keep their head in the sand and hope that the heavy weight champ of mopar events doesn't decide to take a swing at them. That's funny that you want me to give up my 1st amendment rights for some fool who cant control his temper. Sorry not gonna happen.

I see this comment a lot in threads about the CC's, but never any suggestions. How do you emphasize the swap meet? I personlly this swaps are basically dead at a weekend swap, race, show events.

I say good riddance to the CC Events. If y'all like racing with fellow Moparites then start your own events from scratch and see how much effort need to be put into it. I wish I had some sembalance of respect for the original promoter and actually have a little for the one who took over. All you touchy/feely types who talk about "ander management" and the like can just take a hike, let's get back to the way it used to be, it was MUCH more fun! How is THAT for thinking before typing...

This is the single most intelligent comment in this thread. I've been fortunate to see racing from every side, as a racer, a racetrack employee, and as an employee of a race promoter renting a track for a three day event. If it was easy, everyone would do it! Over the years I've watched people hemmorage money because they promised a payout and things went bad, be it weather, lack of attendance, bad planning. It looks so easy when you watch from the sidelines and you say "They have all of our money, they must be getting rich!" There is SO much work involved, wooing sponsors, figuring out entries and payout, working with tracks and their crews, hoping that everything can go just right...and you might make a profit. Turn it into a multi race series, and it's that much harder. I know of one promoter who had $10,000 of his own money in his motorhome just in case things went wrong at his race. He didn't need it, but the chance was there. So if you can do better and have the coin, step up! If not, lets hope this mess gets resolved and that at some point we get SOME kind of series that we can attend and support.

If the series fails it is the fault of no one but the promoters. It's a business and a gamble. Can't afford to lose? Shouldn't be playing.

I've helped certain "promoters" set up events, and have arranged funding and sponsor money for classes before. Never again will I do that after getting screwed myself and watching the people I lined up as sponsors get the hose too.

I used to enjoy CC Events and Monster Mopar, but after what I've been through with them I'll just leave them for you guys to enjoy.

What fight? Here is an "eye witness account"Actor 1 saw Actor 2 at the Nats,#1 went off on #2(verbably and nasty),#2 told #1 to get away from him and shut his mouth(STFU).#1 told #2 try and make me STFU and go away,#2 proceeded to oblige #1,this is where it gets a little "fuzzy",who touched who,#1 and #2 bumped into each other(physically)and when the dust cleared #1 got what he ask for(including a ride of the property),#2 got an escort off the property.#1 was at the event the following day.So all those who viewed this as some criminal assult by some deranged "Hill Billy Physico" must have seen or heard more than what happened. As for me,I admitt that the whole thing was bad behavior on everyone's part and those involved should stay clear of each other as well as others who try and instigate and belabor the issue, just let it go.It reminded me of my childhood days on the farm when two bulls want to breed the only cow in the pasture. After much posturing and the ensuing battle, the bull that won was too sore and tired to enjoy the fruits of his triumph. There were no winners here.Let's race.

Well put I hope some steps one up and and either helps the current promoters or takes over and continues the series or we will wind up with the Pittsburgh and Norwalk races only.
