69 Sport Satellite w/a mild 360 running mid 14`s and it`s been down hill since then(in et`s that is).

After decades of breaking every law in Ct., I took my 69' Barracuda to an ATCO rent day for its maiden voyage. First legitimate run was a 10.60 something checkout pass.

1970 Boss 302 Mustang, 3.91's & street tires.351 Cleveland, Crane Blazer Cam, Edelbrock Torker intake and headers. It ran 13.33 before the night was over. I've been hooked ever since! Man that 4 speed was fun.....

It was the Summer of 1987, Norwalk Raceway Park, I bought a 1972 Plymouth Fury former highway patrol car 440, with 3.23 single wheel peel and went 15.90 smoking one tire to the 330....went 93mph not bad for a wore out Police car..I wish I still had it.

I made my first pass in grandma's '72 Dart at Great Lakes Dragaway. That was back in 1978.

In 1981 I did my first trip to Connecticut Drag Way.1973 Gold Duster the same one I still have.

16 years old. 68 Roadrunner, 440, ran 7.60s 1/8th mile. Was supposed to make an easy pass and shift at 3500. Dad said to let out after half track. Well I launched and it felt good so I just made a full pull right off the bat. Been hooked ever since!

1970 Duster 340 vitamin c orange with factory black painted top, back in 1987 at the now gone Avilla Motor Speedway in Indiana. Ran 9.22 in the 1/8th. Did my first motor build and ran 8.55 with a slipping 727. This was a street car that I drove over, changed to slicks and opened the exhaust to race. My dad had bought it in '83 in Kentucky, and I traded him a crashed '68 Charger and a '73 Barracuda for it so I could race. I sold it back to him in '99 to get married, and he has restored it, takes it out every once in a while in Tennessee.

1979 4-door Slant 6 Dodge Aspen. As a youngster I never raced at a strip, so in 2005 at the Mopar Nationals, I took our granny Aspen show car down the track--ET was 21 secs. But I was hooked and now go to the track at least once a month. Probably will take my 2010 Chally SE to the Classic at Kil-Kare tomorrow.

turned 16 in October, got license in hand the following march, April I was at Milan Dragway running a 1981 Mustang notchback with a 5.0 auto. cant remember what it ran, 15's? First run I went up and rolled the line, started staging with the rear tires.

Later that summer, I had a 1968 road runner, 383 automatic.

1957 in a 1955 Ford 272" 2 bbl. No times. No clocks. Flagman at the start and a flagman at the finish to indicate the winner. No drivers license. I was only 12 but that didn't make any difference to anybody. On the old airport runway, parts of which are still left.

66 dart 4dr, 76 360 short block bone stock includeing 2bbl cam, 302 heads from 87 318 360 4bbl iron intake, 2.94 7.25 open diff 205-70-15 tires, managed a 9.43 @ 74ish with a 2.0 flat 60ft. Actually the first pass was like 14seconds or so, every one told me it would hook way better than it did on the street and I should launch with brake and gas mashed, I smoked the one tire the entire 1/8th mile after that I did it my way and came in 2nd place for the eavning foot brake bracket.

a 1975 duster with a 225 sloper. 18.0@85mph with it left in Drive. felt like i could get out & walk faster.

59 plymouth sport fury 361 golden commando. in 1963. mid sixteen second car. Humbolt Ia. And I was fast for a stocker.
