You should have sent me a short deck I could have rung that thing out 50 times by now.
I thought Josh would have had 50 runs on it by now
Not to mention you probably wouldn't be complaining about the color

are they going to produce a low deck? big bear was looking for feedback a while ago but never heard the outcome.
Any new news on this
I am a low deck racer. My A-body, big block car with factory front end is a natural for the low deck. Mine happens to have Indy 440-1 heads, but B1's are a natural too. My headers won't fit an RB block with these heads in this chassis (2-1/8 x 32), and there isn't hood clearance for an RB either.
Maybe a Koleno low deck and roller cam would be a good upgrade to go with my Ron's Flying Toilet injection. Going to the winners circle is good press... And 50 passes, I could put that on in 2 months, easy.

thats 50 was on the dyno with 2 different camshafts and two different sets of pistons. I'm not a bracket racer so we just run the [Edited by Moparts - Family Friendly Site - Keep it clean] out of it looking for more power.
How much does a iron short deck weigh? How much weight could a goofball like me mill out of it do you think?

I'd also like to add that a B engine provides plenty of displacement to make big HP numbers.

In my opinion I would only mill out the cyl bores to lighten it up (plus you get the added benefit of a bigger displacement) not to say that it isn't possible to cut out the weight somewhere else but it's just my personal opinion. Probably the best idea would be to check out our cut a way sections to see where you may want to do your lightening. We have designed the blocks so that they are as strong structurally as possible and the weight is all in the right places.
