Sure looks like a factory Chrysler Marine to me. Has all the marine cooling stuff, flame arrestor, etc. and MAR 426 probably means Marine 426. I bet people are calling about the motor hoping it's a max wedge piece. http://www.mymopar.com/enginecastnumb.htm

Mine has bosses that could be machined for Hemi cross-bolted main caps. I wonder if this was the so-called "NASCAR" block? Dvorak told me had a special block years ago but didn't elaborate on it other than the price.
