How are you folks mounting your MSD Blaster SS coils?

Application is a 440 with an Edelbrock RPM intake.

Looks easy enough to cobble something like an L-bracket together.

Anybody know of any "on-intake" coil mounting brackets commercially available for the Blaster SS?

I used an aluminum piece of angle bolted to my motor plate.

Andy, what part number is that?
- Will that clear a Holley style carb? Are spacers needed?

I looked on your site but didn't anything like that. On your price sheet/site there are 2 coil related items, AR033 and AR208, pics below, respectively.

AR306 is the part number for the big block version. It isn't on the website but I have a few in stock. It doesn't clear a Holley carb unless you have a spacer under the carb. Works fine with an Edelbrock carb as you can see in the picture.

Does anyone manufacture a coil mount for using a MSD Blaster SS coil on a stock Max Wedge intake manifold?

I have attached a photo from a 1964 Dodge Wagon featured in Mopar Muscle Magazine, with a max wedge engine using the MSD Blaster SS coil. This is a coil mount similar to what I am looking for.

Andy F, do you happen to make a part similar to this??

Thanks.

The AR306 part shown above will work. The bolt spacing is the same.

Andy

Sorry to bring up an old post, but Andy, do you have an alternator bracket to mount an SS coil on an Indy 2D intake on a 440?

Thanks,
Darren

Doesn't the Indy dual plane intake have a coil mount? I was thinking it did but maybe I'm thinking of something else.

Hmmm. Maybe it does. I don't know as it is at the powder coaters right now.
