Yes Andy I have everything except the hoses. I am just afraid to mess up in measuring for the hose or wrong fitting's and finding out at the most least opportune moment.
I already have a line on a '70 set-up, if I can verify that all my suspension parts will work with it I may just go the '70 route. (peace of mind) for me. The only thing that I can think of is the '80 Volare calipers may not work and I can return them as I have had them for only a couple weeks.
I still need to put the motor together so I have time to do some research!!
Thnx too all for the help!!!!!!

Just wait until you put it all together and then the last thing to do is to measure for the hoses. If you don't trust your measurement then just buy one hose and try it. Worst case you're only out $50 or so of wasted parts. You'll spend a bunch of money buying the '70 parts and then a lot of labor changing everything over.

Ok I think I will stay with the '68 Set-up. I have saved all the pics you posted and have all the info written down.
One more question, Is there any reason I can't use the Nuts/bolts to bolt the lower ball joint to disc spindle that was used to attach LBJ to drum. I don't have the disc attaching hardware but do have all the drum.
Thnx again for everyones help..
Chuck

Drum brake spindle to ball joint attaching bolts are longer so when tight the cotter pin will be beyond the castellations on the nut...

Yes, I'm glad not every one is running out and finding a 1970 B-Body K-frame for this disc brake swap. If that were the case, I probably wouldn't have been able to have a real nice one shipped to my door step at a responsible price.

I went that rout because I didn't want to deal with the cumbersome mess of hose fittings and various style calipers. Just the early style pin style calipers in the B-body front hung factory location - simple! But different strokes for different folks...
