Car looks great........ Is that F6 green? What's the motor buildup and what ET range are you shooting for?..........
F6 over white base with clearcoat. 493"/440" Indy E-Z, Indy intake, 1050 Dominator, 612/616 266/271@.050" solid/flat cam, 2" TTI, 13.6:1 CR 727 Turbo Action J convertor, 4.10 Dana 60. Looking for 10.000000! Car will probably be alittle heavy. Full interior, carpet, sound deadner, all steel except hood, original window/glass, etc. Has only 8 point cage so I'm ET limited.

FINALLY.....made it to test/tune Friday. Driver really rusty after 10 year retirement. Need to do some tweaking on suspension, free up front end for more transfer to rear. Got in 6 passes. First few were to see if it would go straight and stop OK. 60' times were not what I expected or used to with old car. Best pass was 6.76 @ 103.45. 60' times were every where,,,1.49 - 1.60. All in all, not a bad starting point. Some tweaking, jetting, and SEAT TIME FOR THE DRIVER and I think I'll be OK.

Jeff, didn't get any pics at track worth posting. The "team photographer" (wife) was working and didn't go. The track photographer took some, but they were 'ho-hum' pics, so nothing spectacular to show you. Maybe next Friday's T'n'T will be better and produce some pics worth posting.

Went to track for another Friday test/tune. Turns out,, they're having a Friday night RACE instead of T'n'T!! I did away with my radial tires on front. Replaced them with new Hoosiers. That was good, no more having to drive car so much. Changed springs on rear coil-overs as the other springs were too soft causing shocks to bottom out. Changed shocks on front to 90/10 as the shocks that were on it were road/highway gas shocks. Front end was getting some travel now and transfering the weight to the rear. 60' didn't improve as much as I exspected, but it was enough to cause it to start stumbling due to the jets in the secondarys loosing fuel, I would imagine. I had put jet exstensions in the trailer in case I needed them...I DIDN'T put the float in though.!?!? SO,,I thought I would go ahead and dial it with the stumble. Third pass, the accelerator stuck WIDE OPEN at the finish when I let up...was on the 7000 chip for a second or two before I realized what was happening and shut the ignition off. The accelerator pump arm had SOMEHOW ran off the cam and was wedged between the pump cam and the carb body!! NEVER seen that before. After towing back to trailer and trying to get ready for elims, I hear them call class and I'm not gonna' make it...so the trials and tribulations of getting a new car and 'new' driver back in the groove continue. Did go 1.52 60' 6.73 @ 103.79. I believe the combo is good for 1.39 6.40 @ 104+ alittle.
