I was also thinking P235 front and P275 rear.
That is what I would go with
(if you wanted to stick with little 15's.. )

They look great, but they're a horrible tire. Check out the Cooper Cobras.
The place I'm getting my ties from don't have cooper brand, plus I like the T/A's classic look.
Yeah, I want to keep the 15in rims, since I have them, dog dishes and don't have to buy rims, thus keeping the price down. This is more of a weekend cruiser while I working on the other rides, so I really don't need bling bling wheels on it.

The 235/275 seems to really fit the B and E body nice from what I've seen (and used)..and I 2nd the Coopers, but T/A's won't make your car spontaniously combust or anything..
That's good to know, hopefully they will get them in stock for tomorrow.

I agree. Great for trailer queens, but they will get zilch for tread wear and have zero traction. Worst tire out there, by far , but oh so popular...
Your money.

Hello. Long time BFG user here. I've never had a problem with them, and they look better than Coopers. One problem you will run into is that BFG radial T/A 275/50/15's are discontinued (IF you are talking 50 series??). In fact all 50 series 15inch BFG's went discontinued about a year ago (265, 275, and 295's).

P245/60R-15 for the front and P255/60R-15 for the rear. I'm looking at a 60 side and not a 50.

245's in the front and 255's in the rear look good. I thought when you said 235/275, you were looking at 275/50's since they have approx the same profile as a 235/60, so it looks good from the side. You dont get that rake, but you get more meat on the rear. On my 70 and 71 Superbees, I have 245/60's in the front on a 7inch, and 295/50's on an 8inch in the rear, it looks really good! The 295/50 and 245/60 have the same side profile as each other. So, once again, from the side, the car sits pretty level, but has pretty fat tread in the rear. That is just the way I like it. If you want a bit more rake, then 255's or 275's 60s will give you that. My cuda has the 235/60 in the front and 275/50 in the rear, that is why I thought you were originally refering to it. I saw that you dropped from a 245 to a 235 in the front when you went with the 275 in the rear, so I just was figuring side profile. Anyway, its all personal preference, I just like a level car, and am partial to BFG, but many out there like the Cobras, and a bit of a rake. They all look GOOD!

Here's a couple somewhat lousy pics of my car. I run 235/60/15 up front and 275/60/15 out back. 15x7 rims all around. I've burnt a little off the rear tires over the years, and they seem to be wearing evenly, and the black I leave on the streets seems pretty consistant too. The car does have rearched leafs in the rear, so it's got that rake no matter what. Throw on some bigger tires in the rear, and it's quite substantial. However I really like the look. IMO these cars only look good if you have the suspension + wheels/tires setup just right. Next time I'm going with wider tires of the same overall diameter on 15x10's to really get that steamroller look. But for now the 275's are acceptable. In reality, on 7" wide rims, the 275's *may* perform no better than 255's, but I like the extra look of width they give. I'm actually thinking of going with 255/60/15's up front next time instead of the 235's. I think they would fill up the wheel well nicer and no matter what my suspenion gives me plenty of rake. Here's a couple pics, enjoy. pic1 another last one
