My main problem is that I have a small tear by the steering wheel so I would like to just clean the whole thing up.

That's strange. I know of another "M" code Dart that came from the Columbus, Ohio area back in the early 1980's.

Wow thats a nice job. I lusted after a 340 auto GTS in that color scheme as a kid. When the owner finally said yes he'd sell it to me my Dad said no I couldn't leave it at home as I had just joined the military(I was leaving my Duster there) I have a similar 1 owner car lined up....they said they will only sell it to me....someday

There is a guy out of Ely, NV that has a B5 M-Code GTS, he brought it out to Mopars at the Strip and the Spring Fling, got pictures of it around here somewhere. My B7 M-Code is far from going together, wish it looked like yours!

Thanks , I would have liked to have had more of a complete engine trans but money is tight and I needed to clean up a little so went ahead and installed engine.

I have a 383 car also and the 440 is a much tighter fit. The extra width makes clearing the frame at the exhaust manifolds a job.

Once in the car you can see the difference. One is how close the passenger valve cover is to the heater motor,and the manifolds are about an inch or so higher.
