Congrats on the nice win Kyle. My brother was there in his 64 Fury you see here as he races with the 422 club. I think he said he lost in the second round. I would have liked to gone to watch but man was it hot. I feel for you all racing in this heat as I hate racing in 95 degree heat as I cant enjoy myself when sweating so bad. But glad to hear it was a good show. Ron

Thanks so much for the kind words, folks. I've never been much on self promotion, and Kyle is not real keen on making a big deal of this, but he's been mad at me before. I'm still his dad. I don't know that this makes sense, but I'm more pleased than I would have been had I won it myself.

It's also a good way to promote the 422 All Stars series....if you are a nostalgia guy it's the classiest, best deal going.

It's been a good couple of weeks, that's for sure. Doug, are you guys going to be at BSD? I know that Bob told me that Tim Banning had some sort of a big deal going the same weekend in Canada.

Steve,
I will definately be there...this is one of my "must" on the calendar. Last year was special making it to the finals and all with Bob & the Savoy especially after the car broke Saturday and we had to thrash to fix it. This year a good friend of mine is debuting his 70 Camaro in the PPG car show. Its a restomod the two of us did.
Breaking the motor in this week and new exhaust and were all done.
As far as Tim Banning goes...great guy, great customer service but I honestly dont know whats going on up north. Providing the Savoy stays together it will be at the Beaver!!!

Theres some kind of food plans Saturday with Bob George & crew so Im sure I'll be close enough to you to steal food off your plate when youre not looking.

Doug

Ron,

Kevin beat him in the second round (Gary redlit, but we ran a 11.30 on a 11.30). He also blew off his overflow hose after the finish line because his electric fan quit and the motor overheated. (Note to self; buy him a better catch can for Xmas.)

Kyle youre right...
Since you already bought them I guess it would be rude not to use them. Besides when were done I know a really nice red nss car we can decorate
with them.
